Aurora was in that dark wondering type place while she was under the sleeping curse. So as long as she’s been under she’s been coherent, just in that other place like David was. And remember how Regina said that pricking the finger was the “old fashioned way”? Well that’s at least how sleeping beauty was put under in the fairy tail. Which means she’s been under for far longer than anyone thinks. So that would mean she’d have a lot more years than she seems, like Hook.
